HISTORY OF HIGHLANDS 460

Highlands 460 is a covenant controlled residential community developed in the Seventies by many of Denver's leading homebuilders. We are located on 460 acres on the Arapahoe County side of what was the original Highlands Ranch. The Highlands 460 neighborhood is between Dry Creek and County Line Roads on the north and south, respectively, and Colorado Boulevard and Adams Way to the east and west.

Once a part of unincorporated Arapahoe County, Highlands 460 became part of the City of Centennial, Colorado, in November, 2000. Our subdivision consists of approximately 960 single family residences and is governed by Covenants administered by the Highlands 460 Homeowners' Association, a voluntary Association.

The Association sponsors many activities, in addition to enforcing the covenants. You'll see them listed in the calendar section of this website.
